German Shorthaired Pointer Dog Breed Information

How badly can a German shorthaired pointer damage a rental property?

One of my neighbors owns one of these dogs. They are high energy dogs. The property is about 1/2 acre, fenced in at the perimeter for a bit more than half of that area (front part of the property is not fenced). The dog runs in circles around the perimeter of that fence, to the point where grass no longer grows on the path this dog has created.

This dog also managed to get out somehow and attacked a smaller dog being walked on leash.

Renters who want these high energy dogs should wait until they become owners, when there will be no other owner to tell them “no German short haired pointers” – as a “pet friendly” “rental housing provider” myself, I suggest that you decline to rent to this type of dog. (source)
